Julián is an international producer with over a decade of experience across film, television, and advertising. With a background spanning physical production, finance, production services, and visual effects, he brings a comprehensive understanding of the creative and operational demands of large-scale productions. His experience includes collaborations with Netflix, Amazon Studios, Paramount Pictures, and other global partners. Selected credits include One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Night Manager, Paddington in Peru, Gemini Man, Jack Ryan, SEAL Team, and Triple Frontier. At Cinempresa, Julián leads physical production while supporting production services and original content development across Latin America.


FELIPE ALJURE

Felipe Aljure is one of the most influential figures in Colombian cinema and a driving force behind the development of the country's modern audiovisual industry. For more than three decades, he has built an extraordinary career as a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer, executive producer, cultural leader, and advocate for the growth of Latin American cinema.
Widely recognized for his distinctive cinematic voice and bold creative vision, Aljure directed some of Colombia's most iconic contemporary films, including "La Gente de la Universal" (1994), "El Colombian Dream" (2005), and "Tres Escapularios" (2018). His work has been celebrated internationally and helped define a new era of Colombian filmmaking. Among numerous recognitions throughout his career, La Gente de la Universal received multiple national and international awards and remains one of the most influential films in the history of Colombian cinema.
Beyond his achievements as a filmmaker, Aljure has played a pivotal role in shaping the institutional framework that transformed Colombia into a leading destination for international audiovisual production. He participated in the development of Colombia's most important film legislation, including the Cultural Law, Law 814, and Law 1556, and contributed to the design of the country's Film Commission and other key initiatives that continue to support industry growth today. He also served as Colombia's National Director of Cinematography during a formative period for the sector.




PASCALE ALJURE

Pascale Aljure has over 15 years of experience across the South African and Colombian film industries. After seven years working on international commercial productions in South Africa, she returned to Colombia and specialized in international production services for feature films, television series, and advertising projects. Her experience spans both independent productions and leadership roles within leading Colombian production service companies. Most notably, she served as Production Executive for the Colombia unit of The Night Manager Season 2. Her broader experience includes productions for Paramount Pictures, StudioCanal, Netflix, BBC, Amazon Prime, and other international partners, combining local expertise with world-class production standards.
His leadership has extended across the cultural landscape. As Artistic Director of the Cartagena International Film Festival (FICCI) for five consecutive years, he helped strengthen the festival's international profile and reinforce its position as one of Latin America's most respected film events. Throughout his career, he has remained deeply committed to mentoring emerging filmmakers, sharing his knowledge through teaching, lectures, workshops, and industry initiatives across the region.
As a producer and executive producer, Aljure has contributed to major international productions filmed in Colombia, including "Love in the Time of Cholera" (2007), "The Next Three Days" (2010), and "The Lost City of Z" (2016), helping bridge international productions with Colombia's creative and production ecosystem.
In 2000, he founded Cinempresa, creating a platform dedicated to original content development, international production services, and strategic industry collaboration. Today, he continues to champion ambitious storytelling while connecting international partners with Colombia's unique creative, cultural, and production landscape. His rare combination of artistic achievement, policy leadership, production expertise, and industry vision has made him one of the most respected and influential voices in Colombian filmmaking.
